Before filming our final piece and The Captive opening sequence, me, Caitlin and Harvey needed to look at and analyse our performance in the preliminary task and therefore see where we could improve. In order of the events of the Preliminary Task we decided we needed to improve in these areas especially:
- Jagid camera movements in the panning
- Tripod making a clicking sound when being tilted upwards
- Camera seen in the mirror of drivers rear view mirror
- Sharp cuts
- Unsteady handheld camera shots
- Overlapped music could be improved
- More time needed on set
- Be careful about change in lighting conditions and changes
Some of these points will be very relevant to our The Captive filming task:
- Camera moving quality
- Smooth camera movement
- Music
- Changing light conditions
