The Captive: Organising the shooting

To help our organisation in planning for our day of shooting we used different types of media to communicate with our cast and crew. Firstly we contacted each member individually and got Permission forms from them, we then spoke to them individually about there roles, what they would have to do and wear whilst also giving them an indication of the script whilst fully laying out to them the plot. Then to cement there idea of exactly what was happening we created a Facebook event which would give them directions to the filming location, what time we would be filming and what day as well as the other cast members and crew:

The final information for the event is laid out here on the Facebook event, It listed exactly who is going to be in the event and all the cast members and crew. Using this type of media to communicate with our cast has many advantages, They could share information and thoughts by posting on the event, liking ideas and opinions, pictures/videos could also be shared whilst we also could create a poll to interact with our crew on there opinions on the days feelings afterwards. Facebook is also considered the most popular social networking site and therefore would be the easiest way we felt of communicating with our cast leading up to the day of filming on Sunday 17th March.
